“CVs in Retail” is a Leonardo Da Vinci Transfer of Innovation Project under the coordination of TEZ-KOOP-İŞ. 7 Project Partners from 3 different countries are Centro Servizi s.r.l. from Italy, VFA from Greece, and Eduser Educatıonal Consultancy Servıces Co. , Ministry of Natioanl Education Gazi Vocational Training Centre, Career Counseling and Human Resources Management Association from Turkey and our silent partner TÜRK-İŞ. Our Project starting with 1st December 2008, will be finished on 30th November 2010..
The ultimate aim of “CVs in Retails” is to increase the quality of human resource by updating Vocational Qualifications (VQs), adapting training programmes and testing of certification methodologies from previously implemented projects at EU level to the retail sector. The project will contribute to the enhancement of the quality of VET systems. Hence in the long run, this will contribute to the “free movement” goal of EU as standardization will lead to mobility of workers and employability in EU participation in the European Labour Market.
In the scope of 8 Work Packages of the Project firstly the Professional Qualifications of 4 areas in Retail Sector (cashier, butcher, delicatessen, and salesman for bakery) will be specified and they will be harmonized with the partner countries which are Italy and Greece. The Employee Candidates will be trained according to these standarts and certificated according to their success levels. TEZ-KOOP-İŞ will make dissemination activities in order for the trainees to find job easierly. An Education Centre will be established in the scope of the Project.
The aim of TEZ-KOOP-İŞ with this Project is to render this Training Centre Sustainable including the test and certification process, to be accredited by Turkish Accreditation Agency, and to be the Union authorised to give the certificates of Vocational Qualifications Authority.
